2026+  LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS  ​

“The thing about gardens is that everyone thinks that they go on growing. But it's more that they die and return, die and return.”
These paintings play with the ideas of things that have been hidden but are not necessarily lost. The same site continues to generate, regenerate, much like the work of an artist. I am using processes and techniques that underscore that idea. Some of those processes include: using stencils that I have made, spray paint to obliterate previous passages and then sanding of the image to find it again, gluing pieces of older paintings or drawings into the image to mimic elements of repetition and renewal.
