This series focuses on the universal yearning for emotional connection between two individuals. By cropping the figures and using the edge of the canvas as a compositional element the paintings attempt to re-imagine the connections possible between two people. The emphasis is on those emotions that speak to a shared understanding or common purpose to two people excluding the rest of the world.
